sa nu va ia cu lesin.
nu mi-am luat masina. adica nu eu...
toyota LC-ul incepe incet sa-si arate "varsta" si posibil pentru o scurta perioada de timp ( sa speram ca o lunga perioada ) a/va trebui(t) inlocuit cu altceva.
asa ca, din discutii, povesti de adormit prichindei si barfe cu zane si strumfi, umbla zvonu ca Subaru face "masini"
si ca padurarii cu scoop sunt meseriasi rau.
asa am ajuns la un XT din bucuresti, din 2006, cu ~45.000km. masina impecabila, cum s-a si dovedit. 13000euro.
dupa ce l-am amenintat cu tot felu de chestii, Relu "de buna voie si nesilit de nimeni", a organizat totul.
dupa ce am luat masina, am facut o vizita la prietenii lui, Sebi si Alex, care sunt 2 oameni de exceptie.
cu aceasta ocazie am sa te rog Relu sa le transmiti toate cele bune, si inca un danke.
am tot ras eu de relu, si am tot facut misto de handeiuri, dar pana la urma va zic sincer, ca bosorogu asta cu sange tanar in vene, nu vorbeste (chiar asa multe) prostii
dupa ce Sebi si Alex au ajutat-o sa se simta mai in largul ei, ..., tot ce "emana" masina nu poate fi explicat in cuvinte.
primele sentimente care m-au incercat au fost ... de frica
e un diavol negru (bine, el e argintiu, dar in realitate e negru negru in ceru gurii ) care daca nu esti atent te mananca. fara sa clipeasca. fara stres. si cu un zambet pe buze.
norocul meu a facut ca pana la brasov drumul a fost umed, si incet incet am capat incredere, iar dupa brasov pana la cluj, drumul a fost uscat, unde am dezlantuit bestia.
refuz sa incerc sa explice ce, cum, cat, ca nu are rost.
chestiilea astea NU POT FI EXPLICATE. TREBUIE TRAITE. SIMTITE.
sunetul motorului, senzatiile, etc...
la fiecare apasare a pedalei fata mea arata asa "

si asta prin faptul ca masina merge doar la vreo 60% din ce poate in urma modificarii. sunt mici chestii care mai trebuie remediate sa ne arate 100% din ceea ce e facuta sa dezlantuie. ma ia cu lesin cand o sa ma gandesc cum va merge cand totul va fi pus la punct
totusi, avand in vedere un rulaj preponderent "lejer" adica cruise intre 120-140kmh, cu destul de multe reprize si acceleratii LA BLANA, pana spre 230-240kmh, consumul a fost de 10-10,5%... ceea ce pentru mine a fost mind-blowing.
si totusi in cei aproape 600km, pot sa zic ca a fost ceva mai mult decat un simplu drive-test...
ideea e ca, urasc lucrul asta, ca trebuie sa-i dau dreptate lui Relu
, dar masina are tot ceea ce-ti trebuie. simplu si eficient.
parerea mea personala e ca nu i-ar fi stricat un ESP. desi, poate asa, fara, te face sa fii mai atent
per total, o masina de exceptie.

Surprise, surprise, BMW has released full details for their much anticipated BMW M Performance range which includes four models: M550d xDrive sedan and touring wagon, X5 and X6 M50d.
M Performance vehicles are not planned for the US market!
All models are equipped with the newly developed tri-turbo 3.0-liter six-cylinder in-line diesel engine which outputs 381 HP (280 kW / 375 bhp) at 4,000 - 4,400 rpm and maximum torque of 740 Nm (546 lb-ft) at 2,000 - 3,000 rpm. Maximum revs are 5,400 rpm. Thanks to the three turbos working in concert, throttle response is instantaneous. The 0-100 km/h times are as follows:
BMW M550d xDrive Sedan: 4.7 seconds
BMW M550d xDrive Touring: 4.9 seconds
BMW X5 M50d: 5.4 seconds
BMW X6 M50d: 5.3 seconds
Hallmark features of the M Performance range include an eight-speed sports automatic transmission, xDrive all-wheel drive, Auto Start-Stop function and M-tuned springs and dampers, bodyshell mounting, engine and transmission mounting.
In addition to M Performance aerodynamic body kits, other M styling touches include metallic grey side mirrors, trapezoidal tailpipes, 19- and 20-inch M light-alloy wheels in V- and double-spoke designs for the M550d and X5/X6 M50d, respectively. M model lettering is found on the door sills, boot lid and, in the case of the X5/X6 M50d, also in the instrument cluster and engine cover with "M Performance" badge.
Interior stylings are found on the gearshift lever with M logo, exclusive Alcantara/Nappa leather M sports seats in Black (X5/X6) or Alcantara/Cloth in Grey Shadow (M550d) with contrast stitching and embossed M logo, M leather steering wheel with shift paddles, BMW Individual roof liner in Anthracite, interior trim strips in Brushed Aluminium Shadow (X5/X6) or Aluminium Hexagon (X5/X6) and reduced sound deadener to allow the engine soundtrack to be heard more clearly.
The BMW M Performance vehicles make their world premiere at the Geneva Motor Show in March with a market launch starting just a few weeks later. The M550d sales begin in Germany on May 12 followed by the X5/X6 M50d on June 16.

2012 Mercedes SL

Following yesterday's leaked brochure images, hat tips to crafty GermanCarForum.com member "ich" for once again uncovering these official yet unreleased photos of the 2013 Mercedes-Benz SL-Class.
Although we have some reservations about the disproportionally shaped headlamps, the overall design is quite nice. Still, the almost identical resemblance to the new SLK-Class is a bit too strong for our liking - especially for a flagship roadster model that has such rich heritage. In previous generations you could always distinguish the two roadsters quite easily.
Despite this, we know the SL-Class will feature an aluminum unibody structure that enables the car to weigh up to 310 pounds (140 kilograms) less than the current model. Thanks to hydroformed beams and chilled cast longitudinal members the SL is 20 percent more rigid. And we all know increased rigidity means greater driving dynamics and responsiveness. The saved weight in conjunction with more refined engines means a 30 percent improvement in fuel efficiency over the current SL-Class.
Other "bells and whistles" that will features in new SL include Magic Vision Control which integrates the windshield washer nozzles into the wiper blades to ensure fluid won't be sprayed into the cabin when the top is down. There will also be a new Front Bass sound system which has two subwoofers mounted in the footwells for improved audio quality.

Koenigsegg Agera R sets Guiness world record for 0-300-0 km/h

Five additional world records also achieved
Swedish super car manufacturer Koenigsegg has received official Guinness approval today for its 0-300-0 km/h record time in addition to 5 other world records.
The world record runs took place at Koenigsegg's proving ground in Ängelholm, Sweden on September 2, 2011 at 12.08 pm in a standard Koenigsegg Agera R.
With a time of 0-300-0 km/h in only 21.19 seconds, the Agera R world record is a testament to its stability, acceleration and braking performance.
The Agera R is powered by a twin-turbo 5.0-liter V8 engine producing 1115 PS (1099 hp / 820 kW) and 1200 Nm (885 lb-ft) of torque. A seven-speed dual-clutch transmission enables the 1330 kg (2932 lb) supercar reach a top speed in excess of 390 km/h (245 mph). Miraculously, fuel efficiency is a respectable 14.7 L/100km (16 mpg US / 19.2 mpg UK) with CO2 emissions of 310 g/km.
Christian von Koenigsegg has stated in a press release, "We had high hopes when we set out to do this record. But the end result was truly astonishing. This is Koenigsegg's 4th Guinness World Record since 2003 and it shows our continued commitment to build Hypercars that deliver beyond expectations."
The numbers are as follows:
0-300 km/h = 14.53 sec
0-200 mph = 17.68 sec
300-0 km/h = 6.66 sec
200-0 mph = 7.28 sec
0-300-0 km/h = 21.19 sec
0-200-0 mph = 24.96 sec
